Neha Issar is a senior associate in the Corporate and Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies groups.
Neha’s practice focuses primarily on commercial law in various industry sectors – including information technology, financial services, retail, hospitality, agritech, automotive, and energy – regarding a wide range of commercial and intellectual property issues, such as structuring and negotiating transactions involving intellectual property assets and protection, intellectual property commercialization options, venture capital transactions, strategic outsourcing, procurement processes, cloud computing transactions, goods and services agreements, licensing and acquisition, hardware and software product distribution, technology development, and privacy and data management. She also has experience with a variety of corporate law matters such as mergers and acquisitions, financing, insurance, commercial leasing, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Dentons as an associate, Neha was in-house counsel for an award-winning technology company specializing in earthquake science where she provided legal and strategic corporate advice to stakeholders in relation to data and privacy, intellectual property, procurement, regulatory compliance, and risk management issues. Neha also negotiated and drafted company contracts and agreements, developed internal legal policies and procedures, and managed external legal counsel engagements as well as internal business teams on specialized matters.
