Career

Mihály is a Senior Associate leading the tax law group of the Budapest office. Beyond general tax law consulting, he specifically focuses on tax planning for transactions and intra-group restructurings spanning multiple countries, as well as tax litigation.

He is highly experienced in providing assistance on a wide range of tax matters for local and international companies across a broad spectrum of industries, including energy, IT, telecommunication and real estate.

He also regularly represents his clients in their disputes with the tax authorities, from tax audits through administrative appeals to court proceedings, including representation of clients before the European Court of Justice and the Supreme Court of Hungary.

Over the years, he has been recognised as a highly regarded lawyer by the ITR World Tax.
