Miguel Pastur is a Partner and Head of Bird & Bird's International HR Services department in the Madrid office.
Since 2011 he leads the Bird & Bird's international Employment and Human Resources practice in Spain. He leads a versatile practice that covers most areas of employment law, including the hiring and termination of employees and senior management, advising on the employment aspects of M&A and commercial and outsourcing service agreements, advising on the implementation of restructuring and redundancy plans, or collective bargaining with trade unions and worker's representatives. Contentious matters also are an important part of his work, as he regularly represents clients before the Spanish Courts and Tribunals, from first instance to the Supreme Court.
Most of Miguel's work involves an international element, and he has developed specific expertise in guiding foreign clients through the complexities of Spanish employment laws.
