Miguel has more than twenty years experience in Commercial, Contracts and is the national head of Competition & EU.

Partner and Iberia Head of Competition of Andersen Tax & Legal. Previously Managing Partner and Head of Commercial, Contracts and Competition at PRA – Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados, Miguel Miranda founded Sá Miranda & Associados in 2005, playing a decisive role in the merger of this law firm with Pedro Raposo & Associados e Almeida Correia, Ney da Costa & Associados, leading to PRA. He is also Member of the Competition Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce.

Law Degree in Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Portucalense; Lecturer on Commercial Law and Civil Procedure Law in several Portuguese and International Universities; Advanced Studies Diploma on Commercial Law in Facultad de Derecho of Universidad de Santiago de Compostela; LLM on Contract Law in Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Coimbra; Member of the Review Committee of the Angolan Commercial Law; Researcher in the ISDC – Institut Suisse de Droit Comparé (Lausanne); Member of the jury in the Portuguese Bar Association.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association; Member of UIA; Member of the Competition Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce; Member of the Private Enforcement Task Force - International Chamber of Commerce (Paris); Arbitrator of the Commercial Arbitration Center of the Commercial Arbitration Institute (Lisbon Commercial Association - Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Porto Commercial Association - Porto Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
