Michael Seerup is the leading adviser in Denmark in the area of estate planning involving family-owned enterprises and assets and heads Bech-Bruun's estate planning group as well as Bech-Bruun's Family Office Desk.

Furthermore, Michael is a recognised tax specialist, not least in the areas of shareholder and corporate taxation, and an experienced litigator, who has conducted a considerable number of cases before the Supreme Court, the High Courts and the administrative appeals bodies, including the National Tax Tribunal. He has written multiple textbooks and a considerable number of articles on topics related to tax and company law and he is the author of a monthly newsletter in Bech-Bruun.

For more than 30 years, Michael has worked with families in control of companies, family-owned enterprises and estate planning and has integrated the concern for the family's affairs in his holistic advice also taking into account all technical and legal aspects, including tax, valuation, corporate matters, shareholders' agreements, marriage contracts, wills, etc.
