Mr. Hong concentrates on high-yield debt offerings, complex private equity financing transactions, and liability management and restructuring transactions, such as tender offers, exchange offers, and consent solicitations. He regularly represents financial institutions and corporate clients in a broad range of U.S., Canadian, and international transactions, including initial public offerings and private equity financings under the U.S.-Canada Multijurisdictional Disclosure System. Mr. Hong has led more than 50 high-yield debt offerings since 2021, with aggregate proceeds exceeding $40 billion, and has substantial experience in the energy sector, advising on numerous debt and equity transactions for leading energy companies. His practice also includes advising on investment-grade notes offerings, convertible notes, and other complex capital markets transactions. Mr. Hong has been recognized as one of Lawdragon's 500 Leading Dealmakers in America and serves as a member of Skadden’s Opinion and Hiring committees.
