Practice Areas
Marie-Louise Gammelgaard Wulff primarily advises public authorities on all aspects of data protection law and the use of AI solutions in a data protection law context.
She thus has in-depth knowledge of both the data protection rules and the sector legislation governing the processing of personal data by public authorities. She has extensive experience with assessments of statutory basis, transfers of personal data, data processing agreements, handling of the rights of data subjects, handling security breaches, including notification to and dialogue with the Danish Data Protection Agency, as well as preparing risk assessments and impact analyses.
Marie-Louise is part of Bech-Bruun's DPO Service and acts as DPO for several public authorities. She also teaches in Bech-Bruun's Data Protection Officer programme (DPO programme).
Marie-Louise has previously worked with data protection as a lawyer in major public authorities, including as Data Protection Officer (DPO) in one of the largest regions in Denmark. She therefore has an eye for and understanding of the processes and chains of command in politically driven organisations where there needs to be room for many stakeholders and disciplines.
