Career

Marcelo is the coordinating partner of the Dispute Resolution practice at Dentons Chile. His practice focuses on dispute resolution in civil and commercial matters, and in infrastructure and energy projects, acting in different proceedings representing companies in disputes regarding contractual liability, tort, construction, energy, insolvency and restructuring, consumer protection, among others; acting as party counsel, as well as arbitrator.

He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the university and is currently a professor of Procedural Law at Universidad del Desarrollo (since 2021).

He is a founding member of the Chilean chapter of ENERAP (Energy Related Arbitration Practitioners) and a member of the Rising Arbitrators Initiative. He is also a member of the Chilean Bar Association.

He is an enlistee of the list of Young Arbitrators of CAM Santiago, and of the list of arbitrators of the Court of Appeals of Santiago.
