Luis is a partner in the Corporate Law and M&A and Banking and Finance practice groups. With more than 15 years of experience at top-tier law firms, he plays a key role on these teams and has been recognized as one of the top lawyers in both fields.

Luis co-leads the Corporate Law and M&A practices, actively participating in mergers and acquisitions and boasting a proven track record in managing complex transactions across various sectors, including finance, energy, infrastructure, mining, and real estate.

Furthermore, Luis has extensive experience in Banking & Finance. He has advised leading local and foreign banks, as well as various investment funds and foreign multilateral institutions, on all kinds of financing transactions in Chile and cross-border transactions.

He has also advised sponsors, constructors, suppliers, and creditors on developing and financing projects in Chile, particularly in the mining and energy sectors, supporting them through every stage. As part of the above, he advises different companies developing construction projects for the mining industry and power generation and transmission projects, with extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements such as EPC, EPCM, EPS, O&M, interconnection and tolling, or PPAs, and supporting these clients during the construction and operation phases of these projects.
