Felipe Rencoret

Felipe Rencoret has more than 30 years of experience in Banking and Finance.

He worked for seven years as a counsel at the Central Bank of Chile -from 1989 to 1996- before joining Carey as a senior associate in the Banking and Finance department.

In 2004, he co-founded "Silva Rencoret Schultz & Lehuede." Four years later, in 2008, he partnered to found Larraín, Rencoret y Urzúa, a firm that combined with Dentons to become Dentons Chile as of 2019.

In the academy, Felipe was a teaching professor in the LL.M. programme of the Universidad del Desarrollo for two years and the MBA executive for another couple of years.

Currently, Felipe Rencoret is the lead partner of the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets group in Dentons´ Santiago office and co-leads the Banking and Finance LAC group.

He has broad experience in project, corporate, and acquisition finance.

Felipe also practices corporate law advising foreign companies intending to invest in Chile, and Mergers & Acquisitions, where he has led large transactions in the recent past.

His experience in financial matters includes but is not limited to advising multinational companies and banks on financing. His client list comprises the most relevant Chilean banks, foreign financial institutions, and multilateral lenders.
