Lisa Berg adeptly represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law and focuses on litigation avoidance. She has extensive experience advising employers on day-to-day employment issues, including: pandemic-related issues; accommodation of disabilities; family and medical leave; reductions-in-force; employee discipline, evaluation and discharge; drug testing; cybersecurity; and workplace privacy. Additionally, she conducts confidential investigations and audits, drafts employee handbooks/policies, negotiates contracts, and provides training on a variety of employment topics. Lisa appears before the EEOC and state and local EEO agencies to handle charges or complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Lisa also has considerable expertise in all areas of traditional labor law, including managing company responses to union campaigns, collective bargaining, and handling of unfair labor practice charges.
