Practice Areas

Leo's practice focuses on the taxation of businesses and business transactions. He advises clients in the syndication of limited partnerships, public and private offerings of corporate stock and debt, and other acquisitive transactions. Leo also advises clients in real estate transactions, including real estate developers, domestic and foreign investors in real estate, and REITs.

Regarding energy and natural resources, Leo has counseled operators and investors in energy projects, including natural gas, oil, coal and alternative fuel ventures. In addition, he has advised clients in gas well syndication offerings, and with restructuring ownership of shallow and deep gas well interests.

He is a frequent speaker and panelist on programs, including the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and various tax-oriented groups.
