Laura Mortimer

Partner and head of the family law team, Laura has a wealth of experience working exclusively with HNW and UHNW clients on the full range of issues that arise on separation, from disputes relating to children to the division of finances on divorce, which almost always involves complicating factors such as business empires, partnerships, farming estates, trusts and/or foreign jurisdiction.

Her key strengths include effective clear communication skills, innovative thinking and empathy, which she utilises to achieve the outcomes her clients need. Laura regularly drafts and advises on pre and post nuptial agreements and has adept experience of high conflict divorces, supporting both male and female clients who are victims of domestic abuse and narcissistic behaviour, and also those accused of the same.

Qualified as a solicitor in 2009, Laura has since worked at two top-ranked firms in Berkshire and Oxfordshire, continuing to act for a broad range of HNW and UHNW clients, before joining B P Collins in 2023.
