Partner in the corporate and commercial practice group. David is principally involved in transactional work (mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and fundraising) for privately owned businesses. This includes working on venture capital transactions (raising funds from venture capital organisations and selling businesses to venture capital backed buyers). He is also involved in negotiating joint ventures and assisting clients with commercial issues that inevitably arise from time to time. David provides prompt, proactive, pragmatic advice to clients enabling them to take commercial decisions to get deals completed. Clients who are individuals particularly appreciate the support that David gives to them during transactions. He acts across a number of sectors including music and theatre, sport and technology.
Trained at Davies Arnold Cooper, qualified 1988 and became partner at Davies Arnold Cooper in 1998. Joined B P Collins in 2007 and became a partner in 2008
