Practice Areas

Ms. Buroker focuses her practice on representing and counseling defense and civil government contractors in all aspects of federal procurement law. Her experience includes advising and representing clients in bid protests litigation before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Court of Federal Claims, defending contractors against False Claims Act actions and white collar criminal defense matters involving allegations of government procurement-related misconduct. She also assists clients in the preparation and pursuit of requests for equitable adjustments and certified claims. Ms. Buroker regularly counsels contractors on a variety of federal statutes, regulations and government contract-related matters, including Federal Acquisition Regulation, False Claims Act and Service Contract Act compliance; the Small Business Administration’s small business and minority business programs and size status; contractor teaming agreements; joint ventures; and subcontracts.

She has represented clients in compliance issues with Export Administration Regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations, licensing agreements and the preservation and maximization of rights in technical data and software.
