Karim’s work spans federal securities class actions, arbitrated disputes, internal investigations, and both state and federal civil litigation, addressing claims such as breach of contract, fraud, professional negligence, unfair competition, and other business torts. This includes numerous matters in which he has defended Big Four and other professional services firms in securities class actions, professional liability lawsuits, and regulatory investigations initiated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), securing favorable outcomes such as dismissals of claims, awards of no liability, and voluntary dismissals in arbitration disputes. His experience also extends to conducting internal investigations for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, handling whistleblower allegations, and defending clients in state court and licensing board actions.
