JUSTIN BECKER advises U.S. and international clients on complex trade remedies, import regulation, and national security matters involving U.S. government agencies and international dispute bodies.
Justin has extensive experience representing clients in antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings before the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission, advising on trade policy and national security investigations (commonly referred to as Section 301, Section 232, and Section 201 investigations), and supporting clients with issues related to tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). He assists clients with understanding these trade remedy measures and building out compliance measures to ensure they are consistent with current law and agency guidance.
Justin’s practice includes litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and he has argued matters before international trade panels, including a Chapter 19 NAFTA panel. He is also a member of the U.S. designated roster for USMCA dispute settlement panels.
