Jorge Sanz is a Partner in Bird & Bird's International HR Services department in the Madrid office.

He is a labour lawyer advising international companies with ongoing employment-related issues and litigation.

During his professional experience in law firms specialised in labour law, He has supported multiple clients, both domestic and international, in all kinds of labour-related matters, including restructuring, dismissals, Social Security issues, professional classification, as well as ongoing advice regarding daily HR management, among others.

Jorge has also supported clients in collective consultations, which has allowed him to acquire practical skills and knowledge in order to solve company-employee conflicts, always trying to conciliate the interests at stake in the manner that most benefits his clients.

Additionally, He has represented clients in multiple judicial proceedings, both in labour and administrative matters, which has also strengthened his practical vision of this profession.

As a labour lawyer, Jorge has always been especially interested in international clients, trying to provide them with a simple, but detailed, overview of the Spanish legal regime applicable to labour relations, which varies greatly from one country to another.
