John Lawrence

John Lawrence is Co-Chair of Baker Botts’s firmwide Securities & Shareholder Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on defending companies and their officers and directors in securities and shareholder actions, derivative lawsuits, M&A challenges, and other high-stakes business disputes across the country. John also represents boards of directors and special committees in connection with investigations. In additional to his trial practice, John also advises boards of directors, board committees, and significant shareholders in strategic governance and fiduciary duty matters.
