Jeongju Jahng is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas are customs, international trade, foreign investment, and intellectual property.

Mr. Jahng worked as a deputy director at the FTA Trade Rules Division, International Legal Affairs Division, Overseas Voting Team, and Trade Dispute Settlement Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. From 2013 he served as a deputy director of the Trade Dispute Settlement Division and the FTA Goods Division of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and retired after working in the Trade Dispute Settlement Division. Based on these experiences, he provides legal services on resolving the various legal issues faced by domestic and foreign companies, and also provides advice to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Environment, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

Advised on US laws (Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), CHIPS Act and Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act) and EU laws & regulations (Foreign Subsidies Regulation, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, Critical Raw Materials Act, Eco Design Regulations, Packaging Waste Directive, and Amended Rules for Waste Shipment)

Represented a Brazilian company in the Korea Trade Commission’s anti-dumping investigation of Indonesian/Brazilian-made uncoated paper
