Jeff Gibson has extensive experience navigating complex civil litigation and government investigations across a range of diverse industries, including healthcare, real estate, manufacturing, financial services, energy, and technology. In addition to maintaining a business and real estate litigation practice, he represents individuals and companies facing government investigations, False Claims Act allegations, white collar criminal charges, and regulatory and compliance violations. This runs the gamut from internal investigations and crisis management services to full blown litigation. Jeff also has significant experience in responding to data breaches, including conducting internal investigations to determine scope and causation, fulfilling federal and state notice requirements, and responding to regulatory enforcement inquiries and actions. In addition, Jeff is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator and maintains a civil mediation practice.
Joined Bass, Berry & Sims in 2016. Previously, Jeff practiced for seven years at the boutique litigation firm Neal & Harwell, PLC. Before that, he served as a law clerk to Judge Susan H. Black on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
