Ish is a partner in Dentons Kensington Swan's real estate team. He specialises in commercial conveyancing, commercial leasing, and development agreements, primarily acting for institutional and other major landlords.

He deals extensively with office, industrial and retail properties, and has substantial experience with the leasing, buying and selling of shopping centres.

Ish is nationally recognised as an expert on the property, seismic and insurance issues associated with earthquakes and other natural disasters.

With his deep understanding of the commercial property market, Ish helps steer clients through the negotiation process and helps them understand their rights and obligations under existing leases.

Career

Ish has been specialising in commercial property since 1987. He is a former contributing author to a land law textbook, and a former Fellow of the Property Institute of New Zealand. He has often been engaged by the New Zealand Law Society and other national institutions to advise and present seminars on property matters.
