Gregg A Noel

Head of Skadden's West Coast Capital Markets practice, Mr. Noel represents U.S. and international issuers, investment banks and financial institutions in public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and corporate restructurings. He is widely recognized as one of the country's leading attorneys handling IPOs for special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). He has handled many of the largest, most innovative SPAC transactions and has advised on more than 300 SPAC IPOs since 2006. He has extensive experience advising technology companies in corporate financing and other transactions, including advising Affirm Holdings on its $1.3 billion IPO, as well as a range of matters for EMC, Freescale, Hulu, NVIDIA, PayPal, SanDisk, Shopify and SurveyMonkey, Ten-X and Yahoo. Mr. Noel serves as co-head of Skadden's REIT practice. Among numerous other accolades, he was recognized in 2020 as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in California by the Daily Journal and was named a 2021 Capital Markets Trailblazer by the American Lawyer.
