FRANCESCA BRODY focuses her practice on securities and commercial litigation in federal and state courts and in arbitration. Francesca’s clients rely on her advocacy at all stages of a matter, from pre-litigation disputes through trial. She represents financial services clients, insurers, technology companies, life sciences companies, and other public and non-public companies. In 2023, Francesca was recognized as a “Rising Star” by the New York Law Journal.

Francesca served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kevin Thomas Duffy of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She writes frequently on issues relating to securities litigation, and is a co-author of the “Securities Litigation” chapter of Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts and contributor to “Securities Class Actions in the Life Sciences Sector,” an annual Sidley publication.
