As senior counsel and head of the Real Estate and Construction team of the Budapest office, Ferenc offers nearly 30 years of experience, covering practice areas as diverse as real estate, construction, corporate law, M&A, public procurement and state aid.
His major clients include property developers and investors, as well as public procurement and private equity firms. He has also advised numerous international companies on high-profile transactions across the Central and Eastern Europe region.
In addition, he has in-depth experience in real estate and corporate transactions and has been lead counsel on a number of development projects and several 'built-to-suit' lease developments in Hungary. Over the years, he has also been involved in numerous construction projects in the field of infrastructure, industrial, commercial office and retail developments, including some of the largest construction projects in Hungary.
He has participated in a number of complex real estate transactions involving major foreign investors and domestic companies. His experience also extends to numerous corporate and M&A matters.
Before joining the team at Bird & Bird, he spent several years working at other leading international law firms. He is fluent in English in addition to his native Hungarian.
