Career

Eric is a trial lawyer who has spent his career helping pharmaceutical and medical device companies manage risk. From mass tort litigation to individual compliance issues, the life sciences industry relies on Eric to help navigate their most difficult problems. His work ranges from serving as nationwide trial counsel for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies to helping small life sciences companies ensure regulatory compliance and avoid litigation.

Eric has defended clients in litigation involving mass tort, personal injury, and wrongful death claims in state and federal courts. He has served as lead national counsel and trial counsel in defending claims throughout the country, litigated in “virtual firms” for large mass torts, and represented clients against numerous single-plaintiff claims.

Equally comfortable with science and the law, Eric understands his clients’ products and technologies and can communicate complex scientific issues to diverse audiences. He is adept at managing expert witnesses, explaining difficult medical concepts, and counseling scientists on the legal risks when bringing innovative products to market.
