Emilia an Of Counsel in the Privacy & Data Protection team at Bird & Bird's Warsaw office. Advising clients since 2004, with a focus on data protection law and technology regulations. Supports companies across a wide range of sectors, providing strategic advice on proceedings before supervisory authorities, designing data protection solutions for business processes and products, and advising on digital marketing, e-commerce, fintech, AI, and other regulated sectors. Negotiates core business agreements and advises extensively on HR matters. Involved in setting up the Warsaw office in 2008 and served as head of Privacy & Data Protection for Poland until 2013. Also has experience as an in-house lawyer and Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Author of numerous publications on data protection and a regular speaker at industry conferences.
