Derek McDonald has practiced in the area of environmental law and litigation for over 25 years concentrating on air quality matters and the development of infrastructure projects. He frequently handles matters before federal and state environmental agencies, including counseling on air quality, municipal, hazardous or radioactive waste, National Environmental Policy Act, and Endangered Species Act matters and the representation of clients in contested administrative proceedings and in federal and state courts.
Admitted to Texas Bar in 1993; New York Bar in 2019. Joined Baker Botts in 1994; admitted to partnership 2001.
