Represents energy industry clients on a broad set of areas, including in complex bilateral and multilateral commercial arrangements, in regulatory compliance, and in disputes related to wholesale electricity and transmission activity. Actively advises and represents clients in rulemakings, in administrative hearings, and in disputes and litigation at the federal and state level, with expertise in matters related to competition, market design, market access, market behavior and compliance. Advises clients on transnational issues related to cross-border agreements and foreign participation in US energy markets.

Counsels energy sector clients on regulatory and compliance matters and represents them in bilateral and multilateral negotiations and dispute resolution, with a focus on organized and bilateral energy markets in the West.

Advises clients in agency rulemaking and policy proceedings involving competition, pricing and access to wholesale electricity and transmission markets. Serves as lead counsel for clients in connection with government investigations, contested FERC proceedings, and litigation involving federally-regulated electricity and transmission markets. Appears on behalf of energy-sector clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings, in hearings before FERC and other federal and state agencies, and in federal and state courts.
