Wide-ranging marine and trade practice: advising on (and handling disputes in relation to) full range of contracts involved in the shipping industry, in particular charterparties, bills of lading, MOAs, shipbuilding contracts, COAs, freight derivative contracts and ship management contracts.
Drafting contracts and handling disputes in relation to wreck removal and towage and related offshore operations
Handling disputes (litigation and arbitration) in relation to the sale and construction of superyachts.
International sale of goods: advising on contractual terms and handling disputes, in particular international arbitration in respect of the same.
General commercial litigation, including distribution agreements, agency agreements and shareholder disputes.
Advising on jurisdictional issues, including applicability of arbitration terms and conflicts of law.
Arbitration: acting as a party adviser in relation to arbitrations in relation to the above activities; acting as an arbitrator (both as sole arbitrator and part of a panel) in relation to disputes concerning shipping, ship/ yacht construction contracts and international trade- appointments from parties and also the London Court of International Arbitration.
