Career

Charlie Peeler is a first chair trial lawyer representing clients in criminal and civil government enforcement actions and complex commercial disputes. Charlie also works proactively with clients to conduct internal investigations and develop ethics and compliance programs.

As the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, Charlie gained invaluable experience leading civil and criminal government enforcement actions against corporations and their employees, officers and directors. Charlie now leverages his background to assist clients navigate the current regulatory and enforcement environment to prevent, resolve and, if necessary, litigate critical issues. A skilled trial lawyer, Charlie has represented clients in high stakes matters throughout his career. He has obtained multimillion-dollar jury verdicts on behalf of plaintiffs and defense verdicts on behalf of defendants. Charlie has successfully tried federal and state criminal matters, business disputes, intellectual property matters, civil rights matters, labor and employment cases, and complex torts. Charlie has successfully argued cases before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals.
