Caroline specialises in litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on partnership and employment (including director and shareholder) disputes. She advises firms, partners, senior executives and employers across a variety of sectors, particularly professional services, financial services and insurance. Her experience includes disputes arising out of breaches of contract, including actual or threatened expulsion of partners/members, changes to partners’ remuneration and exercise of discretion relating to other rights (leaver provisions and carried interest), team moves, breaches of restrictive covenants and fiduciary duties, civil fraud, misuse of confidential information, unfair prejudicial actions, alleged discrimination and whistleblowing.
Walker Morris’ commercial dispute resolution team between 2005 and 2011. Joined Fox & Partners in June 2011 to expand its dispute resolution capability and became a partner in 2017. In July 2018 she appeared in Management Today’s 35 Women under 35 list.
Caroline is a committee member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association (former president of the junior division), The Association of Partnership Practitioners Back to Basics Group, and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Caroline has written a number of articles on partnership and employment law. She has provided comment in the national press, radio and television.
