Brian E. Ashin is a partner in the Real Estate practice at Paul Hastings, based in the firm's Washington, D.C. and New York offices. He advises clients across a broad spectrum of real estate and corporate matters with extensive experience in structuring and executing complex and high-stakes transactions.

Brian represents clients ranging from private equity sponsors, institutional investors, family offices and endowments to real estate investment trusts (REITs), real estate funds and real estate operators and developers in matters involving acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, financings, restructurings, development transactions and leasing and construction agreements, as well as REIT matters. Working across all real estate asset classes, Brian’s deep experience extends to office, residential/multifamily, industrial, manufactured housing, hospitality and retail properties, including the acquisition, financing, development and repositioning of these assets.

Brian also serves as outside general counsel to middle-market private equity funds, their portfolio companies, and emerging companies, advising on their growth and investment strategies.
