BONNIE NEUMAN is the leader of Sidley’s global Real Estate practice. She represents lenders in high-value, complex financing transactions, particularly within the real estate and hospitality sectors. Her practice encompasses a wide range of financial instruments, including securitized financings, mortgage and mezzanine loans, construction loans, and revolving credit facilities. Bonnie’s clients are typically major financial institutions acting as lenders and administrative agents involved in substantial transactions, such as the acquisition, refinancing, and restructuring of prominent properties and portfolios. Her work includes financing of luxury hotels, office buildings, resorts, data centers, industrial properties, and mixed-use developments located in key markets and major cities across the United States and internationally. Her work also involves high-profile deals in the hospitality industry, including large-scale hotel chains and resorts.

Bonnie’s experience includes the financing of a wide range of commercial properties, ranging from single trophy assets, pooled portfolios, multiuse projects, and whole-company transactions to transitional properties and development projects. Her work extends to both domestic and cross-border transactions, ensuring comprehensive legal support for clients operating on a global scale. In addition, Bonnie has experience in the drafting and negotiating of intercreditor and co-lender arrangements and secondary market sales of mortgage and mezzanine loans.
