Chairman of the Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Chairman of the Portuguese Arbitration Association (2017-2019). Head of Morais Leitão Litigation and Arbitration Department [for 25 years] (1994-2019). Portuguese Member of the International Court of Arbitration of ICC (2016-2018). Chairman of the Portuguese ICC Committee (2015-2016). Member of the Superior Council of the Magistracy, elected by the Portuguese Parliament (2011-2016). Founding partner and Chairman of the Strategic Council of the Litigation Lawyers Circle (association of all the leading litigators of Portugal). He plays an active role in international litigation and arbitration proceedings. Heads the International Arbitration Team. Founding Partner of Morais Leitão (1994) and its Co-Chairman and Managing Partner (2004-2012).
