Anne Drost

Anne practises business law and works with clients from various industries, including the transportation, energy and natural resource sectors. She assists companies with their regulatory and environmental compliance needs, approval processes, and land transactions. Anne also advises companies on best practices relating to community engagement, consultation and negotiations with Indigenous communities, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies. Anne has extensive experience at all stages of project development, including obtaining regulatory approvals and permits, devising and implementing land acquisition strategies, and carrying out environmental assessments and permitting. She represents clients in regulatory proceedings before, notably, the Canadian Energy Regulator (previously, National Energy Board) and the Canadian Transportation Agency. Anne is fluent in English and French.
