Career

Ann Coffin represents some of the largest energy and utility companies in the US, with an emphasis on the regulation of natural gas, electricity and telecommunications before Texas state agencies and courts. Ms. Coffin advises clients on regulatory implications and risks to their business, and regularly serves as lead counsel in utility rate proceedings and other regulatory matters, including sale, transfer and merger proceedings. She has held positions at both the Public Utility Commission of Texas and the Railroad Commission of Texas, and is repeatedly recognized both nationally and within Texas as a leading lawyer providing energy-related services.
