Angelo provides legal services to a broad range of domestic and international clients in relation to complex transactions, as well as specialized aspects of corporate and commercial law. His practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, energy, joint ventures, capital investments and divestitures, and infrastructure projects.

Angelo has acted as counsel to numerous foreign entities in establishing, financing and expanding their business in Canada. He has over 25 years of experience on complex share and asset purchase transactions for both strategic and private equity clients, involving companies in such industries as food and agribusiness, aerospace, automotive parts, life sciences, energy production, e-learning, software, and pulp and paper. His key clients include Tafisa Canada, Nestlé, Hydro-Québec, Domtar, Marelli, Belron, Transurban, Emmi, Nabtesco Corporation, Belimo, H.I.G. Capital, and Hidden Harbor Capital Partners.

Angelo heads the Montreal Food, Beverage & Agribusiness group and sits on several industry boards and committees, including the board of directors of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and the advisory board of the Montréal M&A Club.
