Notable cases include: Farley v Equiniti (data breach class action in the Court of Appeal), R (Worcestershire CC) v Secretary of State for Local Government (mental health aftercare in the Supreme Court), R (Bridges) v South Wales Police (Article 8 ECHR and GDPR and automatic face recognition technology in the Court of Appeal), T W Logistics v Essex County Council (village greens in the Supreme Court), MacDonald v UK (Private life and community care in ECHR), Kennedy v Charity Commission (freedom of information and Article 10 ECHR in the Supreme Court) and R (Plantagenet Alliance) v Secretary of State for Justice and Leicester City Council (challenge to the decision to bury Richard III’s remains in Leicester).

Called to the Bar in 1996. Silk 2018. Prior to taking silk a member of Attorney-General’s ‘A’ Panel of Counsel to the Crown.
