Career

Andrea Wortzel’s practice focuses on natural resource issues, including water quantity and water quality issues, Endangered Species Act compliance, and National Environmental Policy Act reviews. She coordinates several stakeholder groups focused on water supply, protected species and environmental justice. Andrea has aided clients in developing and implementing permitting and outreach strategies associated with the development of large infrastructure projects, including hydropower projects and wind energy projects. She represents her clients in administrative and court proceedings to defend or challenge permits, and provides environmental enforcement defense. Andrea also regularly counsels clients on legislative and regulatory strategies to promote her clients’ objectives.
