Work Highlights

• Advising Legacie Developments on their £80m residential tower scheme in Manchester and their £140m project at “Heaps Mill” with development finance package from Merseyside Pension Fund

• Advising St Helens Borough Council in the £40m “Glass Futures” development scheme in St Helens providing a new reduced carbon glass research & development facility.

• The acquisition of two large parcels of land in St Helens in 2024 for St Helens Borough Council together with the ongoing development activities on both sites.

• Acting for Shakespeare North Trust in connection with the “Shakespeare North” project which practically completed in May 2022.

• Acting for Finsa UK in connection with the redevelopment of their new £13m warehouse and office facility at Wirral Waters in 2022.

• Advised Legacie Developments on securing a £20 million financing deal from Maslow Capital to fund the construction of Merchant’s Wharf, a residential and commercial development in Salford Quays, Manchester.

• Leading the UK real estate legal team for National Express Group with a varied portfolio over 350 properties.

• Acting for Carpenter Investments in connection with their £60m mixed use scheme at Hardman Street Liverpool, which includes 100,000 sq. ft of office and educational space and subsequent refinance with Lloyds for £48m

• Advising Brickland Limited on the development funding agreements with Heitman relating to the £180m development of two mixed use private residential schemes at Cornbrook Manchester & Liverpool

• Leading the real estate aspects in connection with the new 99-year franchise lease for the “C2C” rail line which runs from Fenchurch Street Station to Southend on Sea.

• The acquisition by Stobart Group of London Southend Airport and the subsequent refinance of it.

• The development of the £72m Museum of Liverpool Development on the waterfront in Liverpool.

• Acting for “The Works” retailer in connection with its National Portfolio.
