Agnieszka Stefanowicz-Baranska specializes in Polish and EU competition law. She offers a wealth of expertise in antitrust aspects of M&A and commercial contracts, shaping of distribution systems, abuse of dominant position, agreements between competitors, unfair competition as well as state aid and EU funds obtaining and use. She represents clients in merger control proceedings before the Polish competition authority and the European Commission, as well as in antitrust proceedings by those authorities and inspections by the Polish antimonopoly office (UOKiK). She conducts internal antitrust audits of companies’ operations and antitrust compliance programs for the clients' staff.
Her experience encompasses the sectors of TMT, energy, financial institutions, real estate, construction, minerals, steel, automotive, chemicals, life sciences, agriculture, FMCG and retail trade. She assisted clients in precedent-setting cases before the Polish competition authority (UOKiK).
