Morgan & Morgan has within its ranks a skilled and seasoned team of attorneys, business executives and accountants with over 40 years of experience in the trust and corporate services industry. While this business was mainly transactional for decades, with clients rarely requesting anything else but the product, our perception of the client´s needs confirm that is changing. Our clients expect and require we advise them on several important topics such as asset protection, estate planning and succession plans.
We find that our clients are requesting, more and more, that we provide basic estate planning, accounting services and other corporate services. Considering this shift, we have expanded our team that deals with HNW individuals and families that require a more holistic solution. We feel we have, with Partners Castro and Barrios, a distinct advantage in this niche. We have kept adding lawyers and personnel to this line of business in our belief that clients will be more demanding.
Having a physical presence in each of the main jurisdictions we work with gives us a huge advantage over local peers as we avoid extra costs not having to outsource and by having first knowledge of local changes in legislation that may affect our clients.
Our use of technology to give the client a better and more satisfying experience as well as making us a more efficient operation will differentiate us from other local firms. Cybersecurity is a priority in our firm an experience and we sincerely doubt that any other of the local peers is investing in data protection and cybersecurity or has the team of experts of Morgan & Morgan.

Estate Planning, Trusts & Private Foundations:
The firm helps its HNW clients in the process of anticipating and arranging for the management and distribution as well as achieving tax efficiencies, of a client’s estate during that client’s life and after his passing. The firm´s expertise in trust creation and management through its wholly owned, and duly regulated trustee subsidiaries in BVI, Belize and Panama, as well as its use of Panamanian Private Interest Foundations is an area of expertise that is well recognized by institutional clients, family offices and HNWI.
Company Formation & Corporate and Secretarial Services:
The firm assists clients in the process of incorporating companies in multiple jurisdictions, such as Belize, the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, Panama, and others, thus enhancing asset protection and privacy as well as facilitating commercial endeavors. It is important to note that the firm has substantial expertise in helping clients meet Economic Substance requirements which are in place throughout the major jurisdictions.
