Luis Miguel Hincapie is Partner in the Private Wealth Law & Corporate Services practice group of Morgan & Morgan.

Throughout his more than 20 years of experience, he has advised clients in corporate and trust matters, private interest foundations and contracts in general.

His client portfolio includes, among others, wealthy families and professionals in South America, Asia, and Europe.

Luis Miguel is a professional with a remarkable career in the public sector. Throughout his tenure, he has held significant positions where his responsibilities included safeguarding Panama´s international image in fiscal matters before the United Nations, the European Commission, the OECD, and the FATF. Furthermore, he has effectively managed bilateral relationships with over 20 countries on behalf of Panama.

He has played a pivotal role in coordinating events that have positively positioned Panama on the global stage. Noteworthy achievements include overseeing the Summit of the Americas in 2015 that for the first time was attended by all 35 countries of the American Continent; the successful completion of the Panama Canal Expansion in 2016; and the World Youth Day in 2019.

Additionally, he has actively participated as a guest speaker at various forums discussing critical topics such as the Venezuelan Crisis, Central American Regional Integration and Development, as well as issues concerning Women's participation in politics, public life, and Gender Equality. He was appointed as Ambassador for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) #5, Gender Equality.
