Focuses on the taxation of structured investments for non-US sovereign investors; corporate acquisitions; forming and structuring private equity funds, real estate funds and other investment vehicles; international tax planning for multinational corporate groups (FTC planning and repatriation strategies), restructurings and insolvencies; and equity derivatives and other financial products.

Bill’s clients include many of the world’s largest leading sovereign wealth funds and financial institutions. Bill also has been involved with several major bankruptcies, including Nortel Networks, Sears, and the Overseas Shipholding Group.
