Practice Areas
William is a partner in the firm’s Construction practice group. He is an experienced construction attorney and advisor whose practice focuses on representing public and private owners, developers, general contractors, nonprofits, institutions, subcontractors, design professionals and other entities in all stages of the construction process, including project planning, front-end contracting, contract administration and project counseling, and claims management.
William has represented clients in construction disputes including breach of contract claims, construction and design defects, mechanics liens, delay and acceleration claims, payment disputes, and surety bond claims. William also drafts and negotiates prime contracts, subcontracts, construction and project management agreements, design agreements, EPC agreements, and other agreements, which are tailored to his client’s specific needs and project goals.
William currently serves as an elected member-at-large of the Atlanta Bar Association’s board of directors, is the immediate past chair of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Construction Law Section and is currently serving an appointed term on the State Bar of Georgia’s Professionalism Committee. William is also a recipient of the ABA Forum on Construction Law’s Diversity Fellowship and served as the Site Coordinator for the ABA Forum of Construction Law’s 2023 Regional Foundation Program in Atlanta.
