Warren Lee Lewis, with more than 35 years of franchise law experience, represents franchisors and subfranchisors on regulatory and transactional matters. Warren has contributed to the franchising industry as a thought leader though writing, speaking, mentoring younger lawyers, and co-chairing Akerman LLP's Franchise and Licensing Sector Team. He has published two industry books, FRANCHISES: Dollars & Sense, and The Franchise Seller’s Handbook. Warren has served as a member of the Advisory Committee to the Franchise and Business Opportunities Project Group of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) for more than 20 years. He lives in McLean, Virginia, and West Palm Beach, Florida.
