In 2011, Tom was named Pupil Barrister of The Year at the Birmingham Legal Awards in recognition of his outstanding year as a pupil Barrister. In 2015, Tom was named Leader of the Year in the professional services category at the Black British Business Awards. Tom joined St Ives Chambers in 2009. Tom was called to the Bar in 2008.
