Michael specialises in all aspects of Housing work with particular emphasis on Human Rights, anti-social behaviour and regulatory matters. Experienced in claims under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and claims arising following stock transfers. Regularly instructed on behalf of local authorities, Housing Associations and by specialist tenant advisers including not for profit bodies. Notable cases include Birmingham City Council v Pardoe [2016] EWHC 3119 (QB) Birmingham City Council v Ashton [2012] EWCA Civ 1557; Corby BC v Scott [2012] EWCA Civ 276; Birmingham City Council v Frisby [2011] UKSC 8; Knowsley HT v White [2008] UKHL 70.
