Call: 2011
Oliver is significantly experienced and skilled counsel in both private and social housing litigation. He also has a busy property and agriculture practice.
Oliver is highly sought after by social and private landlords, in complex claims for possession, ASB remedies and judicial review.
He frequently provides training and policy advice to public bodies and also makes himself available to law centres, to ensure access to quality representation for the vulnerable.
Oliver has particular expertise in complex possession proceedings and claims involving serious ASB. He is mostly instructed by social landlords to deal with cases involving novel or complex grounds for possession, significant criminality, technical public law arguments and Equality Act 2010 defences.
Clients instruct Oliver for his clarity in advice, his approachability and his thorough approach. His advocacy style is robust, clear and precise, lending itself to contested trials.
